The Camping & Caravanning Club offers two unique settings for Lake District lodges that are both truly wonderful. Derwentwater Park & Lakeside Park sit adjacent to each other but offer two different luxury lodge settings.
The parks are just a two-minute stroll into Keswick and both offer access to Derwentwater itself via the private jetty on park.
Lake District Lodges – Derwentwater
This development of seventeen lodge bases was completed in late 2008 and the park offers a choice of either two or three bedroom luxury lodges. The lodges have been exclusively designed for the park and offer great levels of comfort and space. If you are looking for an exceptional value for money luxury lodge then you really ought to view this development. The lodges are well spaced out and offer great decking as standard – all are completed to a five star standard and there is no compromise with regard to comfort and quality in the design.
The Derwentwater development offers all you would expect from a holiday home in the Lake District, with easy access to water sports, fantastic walks from the park, and outdoor adventures for all. Located in a prime position at the front of the Derwentwater site, the lodges are in one of the most beautiful areas of the UK.
Lake District Lodges – Lakeside
It’s often been said that the three most important aspects to consider when purchasing a property are “location, location, location” and Lakeside is in a truly enviable spot.
Nestling right on the shores of Derwentwater and just 300 yards from Keswick Town these timber clad luxury lodges have to be in the best spot in the whole of the Lake District. Since the park was first developed for luxury lodges in 2006 nearly all the plots have been reserved and we now have nearly 50 owners enjoying their Lake District lodges on the park. There are now only a couple of new luxury lodges remaining on this park for sale, along with one re-sale lodge holiday home – if you want to be on the lake, and to be able to see the Lake, you’d better be quick!
All of the Exclusive Lake District Lodges come fully equipped with en-suite facilities as well as a full bathroom. They all offer great outside space and entertaining areas. Fully furnished, your lodge will be fitted to the highest standard, as well as being double-glazed and central heated. Each Lake District lodge comes with a 10 year Platinum Seal building guarantee.
